Take a stroll with us in the ‘Garden of England’, named for its vast number of orchards and hop gardens. As well as being home to Charles Dickens during his childhood, Chatham has been in the spotlight more recently as it is where many of the outdoor scenes in TV drama ‘Call the Midwife’ are filmed. As part of our tour, we will visit the majestic Hever Castle and Gardens, where there has been a country house since 1270, and was home to the family of Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII.
