Leek Markets have been at the heart of the towns shopping experience since the first Royal Market charter was issued by King John granting Ranulph de Blondeville, 6th Earl of Chester, the right to hold a weekly Wednesday market and an annual seven-day fair in Leek in 1207.

Fast forward another 800 years and the town's markets are still thriving! Located in the heart of the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands, on the edge of the Peak District, Leek's Markets trade all year round.
